Audit faults lax oversight of Missouri’s tax credit programs
JEFFERSON CITY | A state auditor’s report released Wednesday faults Missouri’s Department of Economic Development for lax oversight of two tax-credit programs and inaccurate reporting on the programs’ economic impact. The department is not aggressive enough in verifying information submitted by companies receiving Enterprise Zone tax credits, the audit found.
Nixon expects Missouri tax credit review by Thanksgiving
